For today's photo I bring you the chapel found in "Wied il-Għasel". This was taken on the same photo-walk as the photo featuring the bridge. It is composed of three photos merged together as HDR. The HDR technique really helped bring out the rich colours for this composition. I set my tripod at the bottom of the valley and switched to my secondary lens, which I don't tend to use that often for no particular reason. It's a 70-300mm. Then I waited patiently for the clouds to clear and sunlight to illuminate the place. To my surprise the sun was only shining on the chapel at that particular moment. So I fired away three exposures. The photos were merged together in Photomatix and finishing touches done in Lightroom.
